“It is THE Burgundy winery in Austria for me – with Green Veltliner. The wines are confidential, mineral, full of resilience, enormously salty, racy, steely and dry, communal and religious from individual vineyards with ancient vines between 30 and 70 years.
There are no mainstream wines, no blenders, also extremely complex. They open slowly, should be decanted and enjoyed from a burgundy glass. Not too cold!”
